An Equine Massage Prevention Program is designed to keep the horse's entire body in better physical condition.
Any program you will design will have several variables: The amount of time the condition has existed (chronic or acute), the age of the horse, the disposition of the horse, and the work load of the horse.
Equine Massage Prevention Programs
PLAN A: This plan recommended for horses at very high levels of competition.
-Week One - Three Massages
-Week Two - Two Massages
-Week Three - One Massage
-Thereafter - One Massage Every Week
PLAN B: This plan is recommended for horses that compete on a regular basis.
- One Massage Every Two Weeks
PLAN C: This Plan is recommended for horses that compete occasionally.
-One Massage Every Two Weeks for Six Weeks
-Then Massage As Needed
PLAN D: This plan is recommended for horses that are used for pleasure riding or very light competition.
-Massages as NeededStretching Services
After massage is complete, walk your horse at a fairly brisk pace for at least 5 minutes. This will prevent 'After massage stiffness'. It is also an ideal time to perform stretching after a working / massage when muscles have been thoroughly warmed. Stretching services are available for an additional fee.

RevitaVet provides healthy maintenance and non-invasive rehabilitation of your equine athletes, enhancing their peak performance condition, while preventing costly veterinary ailmente before they arise. The advanced technology behind the RevitaVet IR2 system provides the latest in Pulsed Infrared/Red Light Therapy (PILT). We have the base pads to be placed all around the horse as well as the Pollcap and Hoofpad so we can treat every part of the animal.
Equine Massage Costs: (NEW Reduced Prices in 2016)
Standard 1-Hr Massage Fee: $50 Cash or Check
or $55 for Credit Card (to cover fees)
Stretching After Massage: $10
Travel Fee (if beyond 20miles from Holly, MI):$1/mile
HORSES MUST BE WARMED UP PRIOR TO A MASSAGE. I cannot massage a cold animal. If the horse is NOT warmed up there will be a $10 Warm-Up Fee.
Revitavet Laser Therapy with Infrared:
Laser/Infrared treatments:$20 for the first treatment area. $10 for each additional area. (Treatments take 10-15min each)
Standard Travel Fee of $20 will apply if coming out for Laser Therapy only. This fee is waived if you get an Equine massage and Laser Therapy during the same visit.
Travel Distance Fee (if beyond 20miles from Holly, MI):$1/mile
